Cotton Babies
Retail store with product catalogue, inventory sync and checkout.
The problem
A retail catalogue where almost everything has variants — sizes, colours, bundles — and where the same stock sells in a physical shop and online on the same afternoon. Overselling an item that walked out of the shop an hour ago is the fastest way to lose a customer.
What we built
A catalogue structured around variants rather than duplicated products, with stock tracked at the variant level and low-stock alerts before anything runs out. Checkout is tuned for the payment methods Singapore shoppers actually use.
The hard part
Variant-heavy catalogues get unusable fast. The filtering had to let a parent narrow to exactly what they want in three taps on a phone, without the page reloading between each one.
What it runs on
WooCommerce with a custom variant and inventory layer, plus Singapore payment gateway integration.
